The Black Creek Community Farm will continue their weekly Farmers Markets on Thursdays from 2:00 – 7:00PM throughout October. Visit their Urban Harvest Food Tasting-Recipe Sharing Table, where staff will be offering some preserves and seasonal dishes to taste, and providing information on recipes and ways to reduce food waste. Some preserves will be available for purchase.

On October 19th, they will facilitate a demonstration on making pickles, which participants can take home to commemorate Waste Reduction Week.
