Join us for a VermiCompost Workshop! An interactive look at creating and managing a vermicompost system from bedding to feeding to harvesting. Open to all, with a focus on educators.

– Making bedding (found in and around the house and/or classroom)
– Feeding (what and how to feed worms)
– 2 methods for harvesting worm castings
– Anatomy/Biology of worms
– Life cycle of worms
– Composting technique/ waste reduction
– How to apply worm castings to plants/gardens (direct application and compost tea)
