Location:

DESIGNwith is at the TORONTO EATON CENTRE, 220 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 2H1
(see google map—it’s on the lower level Dundas side between Best Buy and the Dundas subway station— in the coolest maker space/design lab you’re likely ever going to see! https://maps.app.goo.gl/QkeRYwZrr2zBFjGT6)

But wait there’s more!

This isn’t just a book launch— it’s also a mending workshop with sewing sensation Charlotte Rose (@oh.charlotte.rose). Bring a pair of jeans or other denim with a hole the size of a toonie and Charlotte will guide you in learning sashiko mending techniques to upcycle your old clothes.

This launch is a collaboration with Groundwood, DESIGNwith, Charlotte Rose and Type Books. Made possible because of the generosity of Toronto Litup, Toronto Arts Council and Toronto International Festival of Authors.

Loop de Loop: Circular Solutions for a Waste-Free World is a book for ages 6-9 exploring the transformative possibilities of circular design. This fun, accessible, beautifully illustrated book suggests that by mimicking the cycle of nature—where everything has use and nothing is wasted— we can build a cleaner, greener, healthier world for everyone.
