Municipalities, organizations, and businesses from across Canada are invited to show their commitment and celebrate sustainability by officially declaring Oct. 1 – 31 as Circular Economy Month every year. Will you join the chorus of declarations?
Since 2001, hundreds of organizations from Yellowknife to St. Johns proclaimed Waste Reduction Week in Canada and, more recently, Circular Economy Month. By making a public Declaration, you are committing to take action to support our natural resources, protecting the environment, supporting local economies, and safeguarding the wellbeing of your community. Climate change cannot wait any longer; declare your support for a Canadian circular economy today!
We hope your council and senior leaders will take this opportunity to join and show your support of this historical program that continues to engage millions of Canadians each year.
