On Sunday, October 15th the inaugural Zero Waste Festival will be hosted by the St. John’s Tool Library, during Circular Economy month and Waste Reduction week. This event is all about going green, reducing waste, and promoting sustainability in Newfoundland and Labrador. This is a family friends event with face painting and games for kids, as well as providing information from exhibitors, speakers, vendors. There will be workshops hosted on-site.
At its heart, this festival is about learning and sharing. We’re coming together to talk about how we can protect our environment and make smarter choices. Local experts will be speaking about sustainability, and there will be hands-on workshops where you can pick up practical skills.
